Outdoor Family Liturgy & Picnic

On Sunday, September 17, 2006, students, families, faculty and friends of the Sacred Heart Elementary School community welcomed Rev. John Denning, C. S. C. of Stonehill College to celebrate Mass at the outdoor Family Liturgy and Picnic sponsored by the Home-School Association. The Offertory collection taken during Mass will benefit the mission in Peru operated by the Holy Cross Fathers. Mass concluded with a a beautiful presentation of "Always There" performed by the students under the direction of Music teacher, Mrs. Meier. Following the celebration of Mass, families continued to enjoy the beautiful summer-like day with a picnic lunch and treats! In addition, the Home-School Association provided a "Moonwalk and Slide" as a special activity for the students.
