Our
Faculty and Staff
 Sacred Heart Elementary School is proud of our dedicated
faculty, who are committed to the spiritual, intellectual and emotional
development of each student. All teachers are certified by the
Massachusetts Department of
Education. Sacred Heart expects and promotes
the continuing professional development of the faculty, and each member
participates in a variety of training workshops, seminars and conferences,
to ensure best practices in teaching and learning.
Professional Development
During the week of June 18-22, many Sacred Heart Elementary teachers
participated in a graduate-level course in technology sponsored by Endicott
College. The purpose of the course was to strengthen skills in the use of
instructional technology as part of the classroom curriculum. For their final
course project, teachers were required to design and present a PowerPoint
presentation that illustrates the Web Quest they developed on a topic or theme
that is appropriate for the grade level and subject area they teach. Students
will look forward in the next school year to using some very creative and fun
Web Quests developed by the teachers!
