Home-School Association
Parent
involvement is supported and encouraged at
Sacred Heart Elementary School.
In addition to the Home-School Association, opportunities for parent
involvement include lunch activities, clerical assistance, library
volunteers, classroom activities, school projects,
communications and publicity, bowling, soccer, and fundraising.
Special Note for Volunteers
- Please make sure you have completed the required CORI (Criminal Offender
Record Information) form and provided a copy of your driver's license to the
school. The school is required to complete this background check for all
volunteers.
Meetings
Home-School Association meetings are open
to all Sacred Heart Elementary School parents. You are welcome to attend the
meetings to learn more about the role of the Home-School Association or to

The
Sacred Heart Elementary Home-School Association is responsible for
planning and funding special School Programs to supplement the curriculum,
as well as Family
Programs to encourage fun,
social activities that
promote networking and relationship building among Sacred Heart families. The Communications Committee promotes community awareness of Sacred Heart
Elementary by submitting articles and photographs of interest for
publication in local community newspapers. The Home-School Association
coordinates advocacy and legislative awareness activities in collaboration
with PACE, the Parents Alliance for Catholic Education. Our Resource
Committee has the task of contacting and coordinating parent volunteers
for the many
school projects and activities that take place each year.

"Fun
Day" is one of the most popular annual events
sponsored by the Sacred
Heart Home School Association! This special day takes place in May and
features a wide variety of outdoor games, sports, and activities. Parents,
students and and teachers enjoy fun, food, and laughter! Dozens of parent
volunteers plan, organize and run the event each year.

Bowling - The Sacred Heart Elementary School Bowling League is organized
by the Family Programs Committee of the Home-School Association. Thanks to
our parent and grandparent volunteers who drive, score and supervise bowling!
