History 
In 1947, the Congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence was welcomed into the Archdiocese of Boston by Richard J. Cushing, Archbishop of Boston. Site of the first Sacred Heart School in Plymouth in 1949.In the fall of 1949, the Sisters opened Sacred Heart Schools, Grades K-7, on Court Street in Plymouth, MA with an enrollment of 148Statue of Jesus in front of Sacred Heart Elementary School students. In 1953, the Sisters opened their first newly constructed school building, housing the Junior High (grades 7-8) and High School (grades 9-12) on Route 80 in Kingston, MA.  The second building constructed is used primarily as a residence for the Sisters, on the Sacred Heart campus, and formerly housed the Kindergarten program. In 1963, Sacred Heart Elementary School (grades 1 through 6) moved from the Plymouth location into a new school that was the third building constructed as part of the expanded Kingston campus.

 In subsequent years, a Student Activity Center and Gymnasium was constructed adjacent to Sacred Heart High School.  State-of-the-art athletic fields have been added over the years at both the High School and the Elementary School.  Sacred Heart Early Childhood Center, a newly-constructed early learning center for Kindergarten and Preschool was built adjacent to the Elementary School and opened in September 2007. Location and Directions
Sacred Heart Elementary School is located at 329 Bishops Highway (Route 80) in Kingston, MA. To arrange a visit to the school, contact the Principal at (781) 585-2114.Sacred Heart Elementary School in Kingston.

Driving Directions are as follows:   
From the North:
  Route 3 South to Plymouth. Take Exit 6 (Rt. 44 West toward Carver). Follow Rt. 44 until you see the sign for Rt. 80. Take a right at that light and follow Rt. 80 to the blinking light. Sacred Heart High School is on the corner. Turn right at the blinking light and follow for a 1/2 mile, past the Provincial Residence/Kindergarten on the left. Sacred Heart Elementary School is the next building on the left, just past the Visitation House. 

From the South/Cape Cod area:  Route 3 North to Exit 6 in Plymouth. At bottom of ramp, take a left onto Rt. 44 West toward Carver. Follow directions as above. 

From the West:  Route 495 South toward Cape Cod. Take Exit 6 for Rt. 44 East toward Plymouth. Follow Rt. 44E to the Exit for Spring Street (Carver/Plympton). Take Spring St. ramp and turn right onto Spring St. At the end of that street, take a left onto High Street and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. (High St. becomes Parting Ways Rd.) At blinking light, take a left onto Rt. 80/Bishops Highway. Sacred Heart High School is on the corner. Follow directions as above to the Elementary School.

From the Southwest/New Bedford area:  Route 195E toward Cape Cod. Take exit 22B to Rt. 495N toward Middleboro. Take Exit 2 for Rt. 58N toward Carver/Plymouth.  Stay on Rt. 58N to Rt. 44E toward Plymouth. Follow Rt. 44 until you see the sign for Rt. 80 at the stop light. Follow directions as above to the Elementary School.
